WPS salary files in the UAE: a simple guide for small businesses

Under the UAE Wage Protection System, salaries are paid through an approved bank or exchange using a salary information file (SIF).
The file lists each employee's labour card number, bank routing code, account, days and salary, with a summary line for the employer. Your bank tells you its routing code and employer ID.
Payroll software builds the file from the month's salaries, so you only check and upload it.
